Sean Michaels
Mr. Sean Kevin Michaels (“Sean”) has been involved in strata since purchasing his townhome in Surrey, BC in 2005. Sean was elected several times as a council member for his strata corporation where he lives.
He also held a position with the Financial Institutions Commission of British Columbia (“FICOM”) as a Complaint and Enquiry Officer. FICOM is now known as OSRE. In this position he answered incoming correspondence and phone calls from the public and answered general questions on all legislation administered/regulated by FICOM this included: The Strata Property Act of BC, and the Real Estate Services Act of BC among others.
Sean has been licensed as a Strata Manager since July 2008. He obtained his Managing Brokers level of licensing in 2012 when he founded Obsidian.
Additionally, Sean has now been appointed several times by the BC Supreme Court as a Court Appointed Administrator.
