Strata Account Management Service
For the strata property that can take care of the day to day, but wants someone else to track the money and do the bookkeeping: we have the account management service.
Strata account management service will include:
- Maintaining Trust Accounts
- Entering Payables and Receivables
- Production and Reconciliation of Monthly Financials
- Collection of Strata Fees and Levies
- Production and Delivery of Cheques for Signature by Council
- Preparing and Depositing Received Funds
- Tracking and Submission of Necessary Tax Forms and Remittances, and
- Payroll for Strata's Employees
These funds will be under the direct supervision of a licensed strata property manager. This will grant the strata additional assurances including:
- Strata Manager and Brokerage being Accountable to the Real Estate Council of BC
- Coverage by the Errors and Omissions Insurance of the Strata Manager
- Coverage under the Real Estate Compensation fund, and
- Coverage under Credit Union Deposit and Insurance Corporation ("CUDIC"), because we are working with a local BC Credit Union.
